Desert Overture, Phoenix’s premier LGBT and Ally Wind Symphony, will present Guilty Pleasures: Band Member Favorites on Sunday, March 11, 3:00 PM.

For this concert, we polled band members to discover their all-time favorite band pieces. We have selected 12 of the best, which represent some of the finest wind symphony literature. The program includes:

First Suite in Eb for Military Band, by Gustav Holst
The Sinfonians, by Clifton Williams
Irish Tune from County Derry (a.k.a. Danny Boy), by Percy Grainger
…as well as stage and screen highlights from Les Miserables, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Oliver, The Music Man and much more!

The concert takes place at John Paul Theater on the campus of Phoenix College, 1202 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix. Don’t miss it!
